
AIZEN (fleet operator) and Aquila Climate Capital (project developer) are partnering to implement a carbon credit project in Indonesia, financing and deploying an electric motorcycle fleet leased to gig-economy drivers. This is the first Project Activity Instance (PAI1) of the Aquila EV Grouped Project, which spans multiple countries across Southeast Asia.
As part of developing the AIZEN Electric Motorcycle Fleet Project carbon credit project for registration under the Verified Carbon Standard (VCS), AIZEN Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd., in collaboration with our project developer Aquila Climate Capital Pte. Ltd., is conducting a Local Stakeholder Consultation (LSC). This meeting aims to gather views, comments, and suggestions on the social, economic, and environmental impacts of the project, and to explain the benefits of transitioning to clean and affordable electric mobility.

A representative from each stakeholder group.
A discussion of the project design and implementation, including agreement and consent from stakeholder groups to participate in the consultation.
The risks, costs and benefits the project may bring to stakeholders.
All relevant laws and regulations covering workers' rights in Indonesia, including for gig-economy drivers.
Information on impact to property rights as part of the free, prior, and informed consent (FPIC) process.
Discussion of benefit sharing.
The process of VCS validation and verification and the validation/verification body's site visit.
Feedback and Q&A session.
Agreement on next steps and conclusion.
